Sales Policies

Crib and Teen City Delivers to all of NJ, CT and to MOST AREAS of NY, PA and some areas in MD. Delivery estimates will be confirmed by our customer service department when your order is received.  We consider these "Local" Deliveries and delivery to any other State falls under our "Nationwide Delivery" Service.  *Minimum order of (2 Pieces over $999) required for shipments out of our Local Area by Common Carrier

Nationwide Delivery Options:
  • Nationwide Drop Ship - The Carrier will celiver the items to your residential address and bring to end of truck.  You will need 2 strong people available to receive the items off the truck and into your home. 


Returns/Exchanges  .Custom designed furniture and other made to order items cannot be returned or exchanged.  When ordering items from any of our special order manufacturers, please be sure you have measured correctly, the color is correct and the item numbers match as special orders are not refundable.  Some returns and exchanges will be subject to restocking fees of 30% of product cost.  Special order items are not returnable or exchangeable.  Cash and carry floor sample items are sold "as is" and cannot be returned or exchanged.   

Damage on Delivery:  
Any damage to your shipment must be noted on the paperwork at the time of your delivery.  Write a complete description on the carriers paperwork.  If the cartons look damaged, inspect the contents before the trucking company leaves and note any problems on the bill of laden before you sign for the shipment.  Most items may be repaired or replaced as per the manufacturers policy.  Once you sign the paperwork, we cannot add to the claim.  Take pictures of the items once the carrier has left and forward to sales@cribteencity.com and a customer service representative will contact you to finalize the claim.

Stock Items / Munire Furniture  returns accepted within 7 days subject to a 30% restocking fee.  Items must be in the original packaging and in factory condition.  Customer is responsible for return shipping. Original shipping fee is non-refundable.

Minor Cosmetic Blemishing may occur during shipping and can be easily corrected with a touch-up kit.  Touch-up kits may be requested by contacting our customer service department at 973-247-7200 Ext 206 up to 30 days after delivery.  Please note that some furniture is made with antiquing and distressing and even worm holes for an intended worn look.  See below comments.      

Warranty: Manufacturer warranties cover repair or replacement of the item or part in question. Replacements are at the sole discretion of the manufacturer and dealers must abide by each company's decisions.  Delivery fees are not covered under manufacturers warranty - the cost of delivery back to our warehouse is the responsibility of the customer returning the items.   Excessive wear and tear, abuse or alteration of products will void the manufacturer's warranty.  Furniture is manufactured with the ability to be repaired by replacing parts i.e.: sides, tops, back panels, drawers, pulls, legs, etc. Replacement or repair may include individual parts or a complete item and is the sole decision of the manufacturer.  Replacement parts do not affect structural soundness and are an expedient and economically sound solution to correct defects in manufacturing.  Manufacturers warranty is valid for 1 year and can be accessed on each manufacturer's website. Contact our customer service department for any warranty issues.  Delivery charges are not covered under manufacturers warranty.

Finishes and Fabric:  Seller is not responsible for fastness or color variations in fabric and dye lots on wood finishes.  Images featured on our web site are not guarantees of finish.  Many groups offer a "distressed", "rubbed", "vintage" or "antique" finish. These finishes are uneven or random in appearance and are not a manufacturing or cosmetic defect.  Distressing may or may not be visible in the image.   Returns or exchanges will not be made on distressed merchandise.  If you prefer a consistent finish, it is suggested you consider a non-distressed finish.  When purchasing furniture, it is best to order as many pieces as you may desire together during the initial purchase to ensure dye lot matching.   

Measurements: Buyer is responsible to measure doorways, stairways, entry areas, and ceiling heights to ensure furniture will fit. We assume no responsibility for merchandise that is too large to fit into a room or pass through halls or doorways.  Similarly, we are not responsible for the purchase of items that are too high for ceiling heights or obstructed by ceiling fans or other fixtures.  All measurements are the responsibility of the buyer. Returns due to a non-fit situation on in-stock items with be authorized within 7 days as per refund policy above with a 30% re-stocking fee.  Special order and made to order items cannot be returned or exchanged. 

Discontinued Items: We strongly recommend purchasing conversion kits with Lifetime Cribs.  Manufacturers may discontinue collections or finishes at any time.  Lifetime cribs require the conversion kits to convert to full size bed and toddler guard rail is required to convert to toddler bed.  It is recommended to order these items with your convertible crib to ensure availability and color matching. 

Credit Cards: We accept the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.  Please be sure to provide your exact billing address with zip code and telephone number (i.e. the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you). Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order.  We look over every order for accuracy before the final processing of your payment.  This allows the shipping charges to be updated after you check out.

Multiple Product Orders:  All items must be available for shipping before your order will leave the warehouse.  If an item is backordered or unavailable, it may be transferred to another order for shipping at a later date however the minimum freight charge or additional charges may apply.  Accessory items can be shipped separately by UPS before your furniture is ready to ship and will incur a separate shipping charge.

Order Acceptance Policy: Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell.  We reserve the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason.  Your order will be confirmed by a customer service specialist within 24hrs to confirm your order and discuss delivery estimates and options.

Merchandise Availability: We cannot guarantee the time frame in which an order will arrive; it depends on stock availability and destination location. We ship from our warehouse every business day.  Depending on your location, stocked orders may arrive within 1 to 21 days.  Consider any shipping or transit time offered to you by us or other parties as an estimate. We encourage you to order in a timely fashion to avoid delays caused by shipping or product availability.  We strive to keep all Munire Furniture Items in stock as to attain our factory outlet commitment on every order.  We stock directly from Munire's NJ Warehouse.  There is no middleman involved to increase costs - you receive factory direct benefits which include discount pricing and immediate availability*.  We replenish our stock weekly to make sure we have on hand the items our customers require.

Out of Stock | Backordered Items:  We stock all collections offered by Munire Furniture as well as many items that have been discontinued.  If there is a backorder status on an item at Munire, many times we will still have stock availability.  Once we deplete our stock, we must wait until Munire has produced additional stock to replenish.  Many times backorder situations are fulfilled within a few weeks.  Occasionally an item may be on a prolonged backorder (longer than 12 weeks).  In this case you will be notified and you will have the option of waiting for the item/items or a full refund is offered to you. 

Taxes:  Sales tax is collected for orders shipping to New Jersey and New York.  For orders shipped to other states, we do not collect tax. Sales tax collected is based upon the lawful area rate.   Cash and carry items are still charged sales tax.  Cash payment does not void out the collection of tax as we abide by sales tax laws.    

Typographical Errors:  In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing or shipping information, our store shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Our store shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, our store shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
